I am looking at buying something to remove the stock GPS limiter & I am very familiar with the SCOM from Riva. However, I see R&D has something similar called the Boost Box.

R&D says that their Boost Box removes the GPS limiter & it also increases the boost from the stock 7psi up to 10psi.

Can anybody confirm this, or offer some insight about it? I have already e-mailed R&D.

Thanks!

I'm curious to see how an electronic device can change the boost level of something that isn't electronically controlled. In other words I don't see that happening unless there's something I'm missing.

That's exactly what I was thinking Sir... I was just curious if I may have been missing something since I'm not that familiar with PWC's in general.

After reading into it, it seems that they claim they increase boost by opening the throttle plate all the way at wide open request. When the throttle plate opens, equalizes pressure on both sides so it doesn't matter whether the plate is open 70% or 100%. I doubt these SCs flow so much air that they'd boost stack before the throttle body if it isn't open all they. But hey I've been wrong before.
