My engine seems like it is getting back pressure in the exhaust, i took it completely apart and found no blockage. I did notice that the RAVE valve ontop of the muffler was NOT flush with the top of the housing, but rather 10 clicks down. I know in the manual it says they are supposed to be flush, but not sure if that applies to the one on the muffler too.

Can anyone tell me what the setting for this RAVE valve should be?

Thanks!

That one on the back is NOT a RAVE valve, and do not adjust it at all.

It controls the amount of water shot into the exhaust, and can affect performance if adjusted away from the stock adjustment, and worse, can burn your engine up.

RAVEs are just the two up front.

They should have never made them look the same and confuse people.

Through some more research i now understand that it controls the water into the exhaust. I know it was supposed to be set at a factory, however my ski was completely rebuild by a random person. I find it hard to believe that is should be IN all the way. Is there anyway at all to know how adjust it?

set the red dot on the muffler, to be flush with its housing. The red dots on the motors, should be bottomed out/3-clicks from bottom.

The RFI's actually use the RAVEs from 951 engine, so the ones on the engine should be flush with the top of the black cap on the RFI.
