Does anyone know when you order a rebuild kit what greases and locktite and any other lubericants i will need or do they come with the kits?

The best thing is to send it out for $400 or buy new(what dealers do) $866 (Texas). You will need blue lock tight anyway. When you reinstall it, and any synthetic grease to lube the o-ring on the shaft when it is slipped in. The extra $400 for new is cheap insurance. The new SC is beefed up and you know it is not going to fail.

do you happen to know if you can use marine grease instead of isoflex seadoo grease that is 40 dollars a tiny tube

That's the worst idea ever! Just get it rebuilt by a pro. Check out Greenhulk dot net and send it to him. With shipping and new parts was way less than $400.

the cost of the OEM rebuilt kit is around 330 bucks and jerry charges 75 labor with returned shipping.. so its right at 400 bucks for a rebuild.

He never said how many hrs are on it. Jerry can tell what it needs and I doubt he needs a whole rebuild kit.

I just got a 2004 GTX SC (the 185 HP version) and it has 68 hours but I'd rather do the SC rebuild now rather than
waiting for a problem (which, in my luck would occur 15 min into the first ride...).

Some stupid questions after trying to read in this forum all things SC....

- I know that ceramic washers were the issue...I have seem to have read varying opinions regarding AFTER the washers are replaced..

- is the next rebuild time still 100 hrs?
- is there a "better rebuild with better parts" that extend this rebuild time to more hrs eg 200?

SOMEWHERE I read that there is a kit that extends this time frame to even 300 hours! Is this for newer models or did my drugs
kick in better than normal?
