Hi there, new to the forum and I think I'll be sticking around for a while!
I recently purchased a broken 2001 RXDI and am in the process of replacing the engine.
My 'new' engine doesn't have the compressor piston installed so I'm swapping this across from the old one, reading the Seadoo workshop manual it mentions that a new bolt should be used, however when talking with a couple of Jetski stores they both told me they can only supply me with a used bolt. Apparently when replacing these typically a new bolt is not required, just red Loctite and ensure its torqued correctly - does this sound right?
I don't want to go through the expense of replacing the engine to find the compressor piston falls apart a few hours later and blows a hole in the block..
Thanks in advance, gR@HaM
