Hey guys, I have a 140mm pump on my 97 spx.
Really wanted to get this thing on the water this weekend, and don't want to use RTV for the jet pump as I'm sure i'll be taking it off again.
Unfortunately the neoprene seal I ordered is still on the way.
So in the mean time, I bought this at lowes, cut it out and installed it:

Think it will do the job?
Should I even put the neoprene on when it comes or just ride this out for a while?
