Hi im kind of new to the forums and this is my first seadoo i have owned, i was wondering if any one has put a gas guage in there early 90s seadoo sp, i have a sending unit out of a 93 xp, i think it will work, however i have no idea where to wire it up at?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Please give a heads-up if you were able to install a gas gauge on your 90 Seadoo SP. I have the same watercraft and was thinking of installing a fuel gauge too.

It really wont work...the only machines that had them are the XPs and they had an extra hole in the tank for it. Not to mention that style sensor/sender is pretty much non existant....well theres a new one on ebay right now but he wants $200 for it...lol

Wiring would be simple...its the baffle/sensor install thats the hard part.

The only way would be to swap the tank, but I dont know if one out of a 93 will fit in a 90.

No...the ones with the small rectangular hood used a different gas tank than the newer ones that all had a gas gauge.
