I'm going with the Synthetic Green Grease.....this isnt rocket science....I dont think :ack:

Thanks Craig,

I replaced the impeller and wear ring and had everything back together "Then realized" I forgot to grease the shaft/impeller splines.:blush::banghead:

Was searching the forum for what to use and found your post. Took it apart, greased (as you can see in the pics) and put everything back together.

Added water, started her up and heard like a whizzzz, best she's sounded in a while actually.

Hopefully I can test her out tomorrow, 64-65 was top end before I sucked up gravel

I cant imagine for the life of me why any good synthetic grease would not work for that application??? Any good automotive wheel bearing grease should work just fine I would think. If it works in CV joints it should work for this.
