PTO Servicing

How often do you guys put grease in the PTO. Also how many pumps should I put. I have been putting 3 full pumps, but the ski's are new to me. So should I back off on this ?????

The color has gone from the milky green/grey to clean red super tacky on the cover but it's not excessively slinging it out.

other's might correct me, but I'm remembering that I did one good squirt about every 25 hours, you don't want to overfill.

My intention was to slowly work old grease out. That achieved I want it right so thank you very much.

Usually just enough to see the driveshaft push back. Usually for me it is about 1 to 2 pumps.

I will grease all my pto's in the spring and about mid summer. Some of the guys grease in the fall when winterizing and then again in mid summer.

Trying we have decoration at our family graveyard Saturday so maybe Sunday supposed to rain Monday.
