Oil fill

So wondering about putting oil in these things... How much do you put? There is no way to see the level it is at. We bought a large bottle of full synthetic and put 3/4's into our 2002 and the rest into the 2001. When we bought them a few weeks ago the 2002 said low oil. Do you just keep filling until the oil is basically at the top of the fill opening???

I will add I have never owned a Jet Ski or Sea Doo till now.

First what oil are you using.
Second you can’t mix two different brands of oil.

What skis? You can see the oil tanks inside all models to see when they are full.

2001 GTX RFI and 2002 GTX Di Sea Doo's

My wife went and bought XPS XD100 and what we put into both ski's. As for not mixing oil how would one know when they were bought third party? Is this really that important? Do I need to have the oil drained and start over before running?

I also found the oil tanks the 2002 unit I had to wipe it down. Still not really easy to see the level in the tank. The 2001 has what I'm guessing is the exhaust pipe hiding the tank in a big way.
