While on the River my 93 GTX stopped abruptly.

When I tried to move the PTO, it was frozen.

I pulled the rear cylinder cover to see how the walls looked and it was fine, no etching or crap inside: looked new.

I next yanked out the drive shaft to see if that was the problem and the PTO remainded stuck.

Where do I go from here?

I sure as hell am no mechaninc but things are looking like I have soem bad bearing at the crankshaft area, yes? No?

If yes, will I need special tools to pull the engine and look further?

If no, all suggestions will be welcome.

pull the spark plugs and turn the pto (under the grey shield), see if it turns/rotates

I'm not getting whats stuck....

is the driveshaft suck, and won't pull out? or it won't rotate?

either way... like Seadooya said, remove the gray cover, and give the PTO a twist. if it wont... loosen the clamp on the hose holding the driveshaft seal, and then give the PTO a twist again.
