Prototype RXT

Hey guys... I got a quick question that I can't seem to find an answer for.

One of my buddies picked up a 2006 RXT 215 (black and yellow) a few month back and the thing is a beast!! It has a crazy SC whine, accelerates much faster then me on a 07 RXP 215 and doesn't seem to top out at 70mph. It is one of the fastest things on the water....it runs a bit behind a RXT-X out of the hole, but blows by it at top speed.

He bough it from a dealership with 42 hours on it and they claim everything is stock. It will start with any DESS key, we have tried with lots, a 97 challanger key, a 00 xp key, a 04 speedster key and both my rxp and my brothers rxt-x key; they all work.

On the back where the large BRP sticker should be there is a sticker that says BRP Prototype. Anyone ever heard of this or have any theories??? It is the weirdest thing ever and this maching is fast as hell (i wish i got it)....we have never gps'd the top speed, but if i had to guess it goes at least 10mph faster than my rxp and a brand new rxt-x.

Prototype.....

No, it's not a prototype. They aren't sold to the general public, even after they finish the R&D on it.........

I think it's got one of the new SC turbines on it. I just read about it. It cost a coupl hundred bucks, but it picks the boost up from 9 lbs to 11 or 12, if I remember right.

This craft is modded, don't let him fool you........:cheers:

If it is modded....he didn't do it. He is a follower, and after I got a RXP he wanted one too. He knew nothing about them, and I was there when he go it. When we first saw it at the dealer, it had no decals or warning labels on it, but the dealer said he had ordered them. He got it for dirt cheap too....im seriously thinking there is something up. I will post some pics of it and the prototype sticker thing when i get a chance!

Ok...i know this was a long time ago...but I finally got some pictures of my buddies seadoo. I didn't want to take off the little peice the covers part of the engine so I don't have a clean engine shot. But here they are so let me know what you think.

If I was to guess by the pics the last owner or the original owner is an R&D tech for Seadoo and it was his ski..!! That is the only thing I can come up with and that he did increase power on it by changing S/C pullies to increase boost.
