Pros And Cons of Doctoring maintance related software on your Sea Doo

I have been reading about how the aftermarket is creating a way to doctor the software that BRP uses to evaluate a warranty claim . Well my response is don't go there cuz their warranty documents will cover them and you will get your warranty denied I think by a company that's otherwise reasonable about mods .

One example is a pump failure I had at 350 hrs on my 2015 Sea Doo .
The v tech tune I have bumps up performance using torque not more rpms .
ALso the better seal that I have with a Solas impeller / stainless steel ring combo gives lower peak rpm and and average rpm data so claim approved on my 3 year extended warranty. If the rpm data was doctored , maybe it would be claimed deigned and I would get stuck with a $900 bill instead of $50 . I guess their are more people who know about buds that can elaborate on this subject . In conclusion , if your mods are smart and reasonable , then you have nothing to hide .
