so, I'm getting my seadoo back on wednesday and i want to know what the best oil is for my 01 rx. i used to get oil from the dealership because i never really trusted the brands that canadian tire or other stores hold for my seadoo, they don't really have specific oils, they have like a basic marine oil. the dealership oil is getting a little expensive and i want to know what type of oil i can buy from a store to save me from the dealership hassle.

Amsoil Interceptor is a good oil. The fully synthetic Quicksilver is another popular oil. Just be sure that you get the API-TC grade oil

I'm using the full synthetic quicksilver, it comes in a black 1 gallon jug. Otherwise, full synthetic xp-s.

NO, NO, NO, absolutely not. You must use an API-TC rated oil and it should be full synthetic. I'll take a look at Canadian Tire's website and see if they have anything, eh.

Well apparently Canadian Tire doesn't carry a compatible oil and neither does Walmart in Canada. What kind of third world country are you living in? Anyway I guess check your local marine dealers, if all else fails here's where I get my oil, I get SeaDoo XPS2 synthetic for $45.00 a gallon shipped, I'm not sure if he will ship to Canada, but you can ask.

tcw,tcw-2,tcw-3 is bad to use in these sea-doo's. And try not to mix them too. I'd get some from sea doo or some quicksilver if you can find any.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were in montreal. I buy the quicksilver oil at Walmart across the border. It's full synthetic API-TC.

haha ok, so considering in in montreal canada, can someone tell me what exact oil to get, because so far i see a bunch of different brands and types etc... i just need the proper one folks! :)

thanks y'all
