End of Summer final post
OK, it's end of August, and the jet skis have been running all summer. And all my initial work resulted in fine running sea doos. These things are just hard to prime, but not too hard. We keep our skis on lake erie, and typically only use them on weekends.
After a week of sitting, here is our routine: Put the choke on full. Crank the motor till it almost catches (about 5 seconds). Turn off the choke, and start up the ski. Works every time.
Changing all the fuel lines takes a little more than an hour, and that includes hauling out the gas tank (the first jet ski was so successful, I decided to do the other one as well).
So, thanks again to everyone for the advice.
