Well the title describes the problem and it's getting very annoying. I disassembled the whole pressure regulator and everything looks normal including the diaphram. Is there anything in there that would cause this to leak out the weep hole other than a hole in the diaphram? Does anyone have a picture of a disassembled unit? Everything ran fine for a couple of seasons and it just started leaking without being opened, tuned up or otherwise tampered with.

Thanks,

Weep hole?

I just had mine apart 2 days ago, and don't remember seeing a weep hole. Was it in the cap?

Regardless... if water is getting past the diaphragm, then it's leaking. Take it apart, and clean everything... and check the diaphragm.

It has a weep hole in the bottom half of the housing. While we're at it, did yours have two stainless steel clamps on it? One large one at the top of the diaphram and one small one down lower? That may be a problem since mine seems to be missing the lower clamp that I see in the parts diagram.

The bottom clamp can have rotted away. If it's missing, that's probably why water is getting into the top half.

FYI... yes, I found the weep hole on mine. I guess I just wasn't looking for it before, and it didn't register in my head.
