I have a 97 XP that needs a bit more bottom. I am looking at PPG Level 1 that involves a compression boost with head mill or Group K's Sleeper kit. I assume with a bit more power, a prop change would also help. I am not a big fan of boosting compression too much due to stress on the motor. I have changed out the grey fuel lines and have the carbs off. This would be a good time to work the engine over if I am ever going to do it. If you have any experience with PPG or with lightly modifying the 785, please let me know.
