I've been having battery problems, I just bought a new battery this year and I will start the seadoo up in the morning, take it out on the lake then go to start it and it barely turns over. I noticed the positive battery cable is very hot. It's not from the engine heat either.

I pulled the plugs and kept trying to turn the engine over and it would still get hot on a cold engine. What could be draining the battery or making the cable hot?

Check the rectifier and stator. when the rectifier or stator start to go bad they can get the cables really hot. There are numerous threads on the forum of how to check them. just use search function
