The proper settings for my popoff is listed as 36-40 psi
I redid my carbs with Mikuni kits... and as i was disassembling them, i noticed that my boat had a prior popoff of higher than 45-50 psi. The carbs (and filters) were completely spotless.
So do you think that the previous owner redid the carbs and used new springs without testing popoff first? Or could a 14 year old boat have spotless carbs and filters?
When i put them back together, i used the springs from the Mikuni kit, but cut them bit by bit until they registered a 36 to 40 psi popoff
