Pop off pressure question

1995 seadoo xp 717 Carburetor rebuild...what should the pop off psi be ???I checked the manual and the company who sold me the rebuild kit says two different things...the manual says 22-29 psi and the rebuild kit seller said 40-56???

30 psi - 35 psi is the usual that's what i'd go with

so in nyc sealevel I would set both carbs 48.

Yep... the early 720 engines had high pop-off pressures.

40 - 56 PSI.

I normally like to get on the low side of that.

If you have a Chilton manual... toss it in the trash. They are wrong a a bunch of things.
