Pop Off Pressure for 95 SPX

Looking at the Seadoo manuals this is what I 'm seeing as pop-off pressure specs for the 1995 SPX and all Dual Carb models mentioned in the manual . 16-21 PSI for dual carb models, Pressure drop should not go past 12 PSI What's up with this ?

The only carbs that used a lower pressure, was the very early round carbs. Anything with a modern square carb is going to above 20 psi.

With that said... pop-off is a relative test... and it's based on what needle and seat you have. SO... verify the size and condition. If you are running the OEM "2.0" size... then your pop-off should be 22-35 psi.

How does one verify the needle and seat size with accuracy?

It says it on the bottom of the seat

A 1995 SPX according to the seadoo parts diagram uses a 1.2 needle and seat.
