hi all im going on vacation saturday and i wanna bring my 2001 seadoo gtx rfi i had it out the other day my buddy took it for a ride when it came back i was giving it gas and it was not moving just cavitating so i took it outta the water and noticed it had more water in it than usually and for somr strange reason its missing the cone shaped cover in where the jet comes out can any one help me get this thing fixed please

think ur pump assy is messed up, if thats the cone, your referring to. Need to pull off pump, see if the shaft, if anything, is still moving/spinning freely, if so, then maybe it can be saved, install new cone, and fill with 75w-90 synthetic oil..any oil from auto store wiill do.

While pumps off, inspect the wearring and impellor condition, along with, taking on water, the carbon ring, located inside the hull, behind the motor, under the grey shield.
