Plasti dip

Lol actually, 2 years ago I had a spare seat that was ripped on my spx, so I ripped the rest off, and painted the foam with plasti-dip black, and it didn't work. It was all cracked and flakey..allegedly the formula is a lot better than it was 2 yrs ago

If you did do it I would only do it from the gunwhale up. If you put it on the underside it will more than likely peel off and cause a lot of drag.

Yea, I have a yellow 'hood' on my 2000 XP, I was gonna pull it off and paint it black. By using this stuff, I can peel it off if I don't like it.

Or I could neon orange the whole ski!

I don't know how much drag it would cause, but it sure would be fun to play with.

Couldn't say how it does on the ski, but I've dip'd my whole trailer. Wheels, fenders, frame, everything. No problems yet.

Did my wheels...

After this.. Now I want to do my whole XP matte black. Screw buffing. I can spray this on in 2 hrs... Do the whole ski run rail up.

Going to partially disassemble the XP and matte black it!
