pistons change ?

i have a 95 speedster with the 657x motors,, i have a motor that needs a head gasket soo, i figured that while i have this thing apart i might as well redo all gaskets,pistons,etc.... but iam looking for advice on whats the best pistons to get,,and whats the best bore for this little motor??? iam looking to get as much out of this motor as possible . ty joe

If the compression is good the slightly larger bore will not make a significant impact on performance.

:agree: Generally SeaDoo does a real good job maximizing performance and reliability, other than going to a performance impeller there's not a lot that I would recommend doing.

If you want a faster boat, buy a faster boat.

BTW, if you're replacing the head gasket, be sure to replace the "O" rings also.

well lou ty for the ADVICE,, but if could afford a faster boat i would,, and yes, i have changed the o-rong all ready ... thanx for the reminder on that , some people forget to do it .... joe

Just to clarify what I said, you are going to spend a lot of money for minimal gain on the boat you have. It would be cheaper to sell it and get another boat.
