What are you guys using to remove pine tree resin/sap from a brand new Sea Doo cover? Unfortunately my dock is located under one of these giant trees so I have this occasional dripping. I have yet to get one drop on my new ski but I know it will happen. Last year, a branch broke and my old Sea Doo got covered with it. Took me days to clean it up and I made a mess with gasoline.

Thanks.

Benji.

Seems like no one else has a huge pine tree over their docks... Even the BRP dealer doesn't know and I asked a few persons today when I went there to pick some oil...

Goof Off: is it like Goo Gone? Tried that last year already with mitigated success... Ended up using gasoline...

We have huge pine trees over are whole lake property and are constantly cleaning pine sap off of anything that sits or lies beneath them. Nothing works very well but they sure are beautiful.

Rubbing alcohol did the job on the cover this morning. There was plenty on the cover as we had a big rain storm that lasted two days. I have to try this directly on the Sea Doo however (I got lucky so far, no stains).
