Im working on this 05 BRP, with candoo pro. I have a key that came with the seedoo but i get no response , iv programmed a new key and no response, if i short the three wires from the post i get my beeps 1 short 1 long and 4 quick beeps every few seconds. Im not sure why when the key is on the post there is no response unless its just a bad post.. what do you guys think???

so i switched out the post with the one from my test unit. And its good to go i get 1 short one long then my standby beeps.
NOW im on to the starter. Iv bought a new one wired it up and i get nothing. i trip it across the solenoid switch and nothing. i have a new switch but i think its more like a ground issue should there be a ground wire on the starter?

If the starter is in fact good, then you have a battery, cable, or cable connection issue. Use a meter and see where you loose voltage. Both terminals at the battery, then the ground to the block. Then both at battery again, then hot to the hot side of solenoid ect ect.

good call it was a bad starter cable. auto depot had one for a few bucks. before i go through the trouble of installing it again, im going to try and get it to run with the start button. I picked up this seedoo for $900.
so with new battery new mpem new lanyard new starter im getting a buzzing from the mpem with key on post ?? not sure why the buzz.

so the buzz was a loose ground. starter will not run out of ski ?? yes i do have ground wire going to starter. i can jump across the solenoid and the starter bumps. but nothing from the switch. im going to try and install new solenoid switch.

The buzzers fail often. Test to see if it is receiving voltage. Run 12 volts to it to see if it turns on.

Starters are testable out of the ski. It is either junk, you have a weak battery, bad cables or bad connection. NOTHING you do to the ski matters if the starter does not crank out if the ski assuming good connection, cables and battery.

So the battery cable gas been replaced. New spark plugs. I tried to crank it over 4-5 times nothing maye a little stumble no start. Is it normal for the empeller to turn I thought it would only turn if see doo was in gear. I'll be looking into the empeller issue while the starter cools off.

It is normal. Directly attaced to the engine via splines. How well does it turn over? Fairly fast and smooth or slow and labored?

She turns over fast and smooth now. I ran for 60 sec and did candoo pro diagnostic. Everything is good. With seat off exhaust pipes were smoking cold be a small leak / loose connection it's 105 here so not steam hahaha. Now it won't shut off with key removed so no way to shut off beside disconnect post from wires.

So I got the ski running did an in water test. About five min running I got a steady beep then limp mode.
I got back to the dock and it was hot. I'm thinking it's these two plugs in the back on the side of the ski there's like a rubber tube inside the holes. Not the drain plugs in the back. Should I take these out ? When I'm running the ski on the hose where should I look for the pisser holes ? Any help would be great.

Is this a 2-stroke? If it is, then ask the moderator to move this to the two stroke section. More help with it there.

2005 gti. I tried to look up the specs, and it was coming up two stroke. Can you find a shop manual on line?? $10.95 a month here at the forum has a unlimited access to them. The manuals have every thing charted out for the systems.

Yeah I think my best bet is to upgrade my membership this forum has been a great help. Thanks I'll move this post over and see what inputs I get.

I think that you need to research you hull #. I don't think it is a GTi. You are in the right place. Type in you hull number and anything else and the members should be able to help you identify your 'doo. Attach pics.

Here are some pics of the ski and engine. It's a clunker I bought while I'm in Bahrain something to work on and take my guys out to R&R

Here's a good link to manuals. if you order parts from them, call. Tell them you are a forum member and you'll get a 10% discount.

What is your HIN?
