Very excited. After going back and forth on a few skis, finally picking up a 2012 Wake Pro 215 as my first ski this weekend. Buying it from a dealer whomserviced it from the initial sale and who has a great reputation in my area. Anything can happen or course.

Looking forward to getting out on the water this weekend. Lots to learn...

Stay safe and have FUN!

Thanks. Looking forward to this thing. Going to take the Coast Guard Boating Course and am reading up on as much as I can. Also got involved with a local jet ski club and the place I'm buying it from does rides almost every Sunday. So I'll be riding with others who know more than I do for quite some time. :)

So, went to pick her up yesterday. Was having them deliver it to the water and I'd ride it then take it to the place I'm keeping it (a good friend's place on water with a lift).. However, started out of the water, wouldn't start on the water. Dang.

They took it back to the shop. It was already late so techs were gone. They'd look at it first thing in the morning. Long story short, was the battery (sort of figured that) and I picked her up today. Unfortunately, didn't get to ride due to storms in the area. Hoping to take her out tomorrow.

In the mean time, been working to remove old sticker residue from the hull. Looking better already...

Looking forward to this!

Congrats on the boat and good for you trying to learn as much as you can before getting out there. As suggested, Goo Gone makes quick work of sticker glue removal. I took all the warning stickers off my GTX except for the one showing the direction to roll the ski in case it is upside down and the weight limit sticker. Nobody pays attention to those wonkey warning stickers anyway.

I did try Goo Gone but MAN, it's a PITA to get the residue off. Someone mentioned WD-40 works better and it won't harm the finish. Going to try that.

Going to get out this morning for a bit then tomorrow for the 4th with my buddy on his new ski (he got a Spark).

Was reading more boating rules/regulations until about 1am last night. About halfway through the manual for my ski. Reading more before I go out. So much to learn...
