Performance impeller for GTI 130 good or bad idea?

I have a small rental operation in which I currently have GTI 130 and GTI 155 skis. A few of these have slight damage to the impellers and I have debated replacing them or not. I really don't know at what point it is worthy of a replacement, especially on a rental unit where they will be damaged soon enough anyway. Two of my GTI 130s came back last week with damage so bad that it broke the wear rings and scored the pump housings badly. The impellers don't look ruined, but bent up some. I have thought that it would be a good opportunity to replace these impellers with performance impellers, but some have said that the 130 isn't strong enough to handle the extra load. 95% of the riding happens at 3650 ft elevation between June-September, 90-100 degrees for a high temperature.

I have felt safe buying OEM parts because of some of the things written on these forums, especially about wear rings not being right. So I like the idea of using an oem impeller so that I can use an oem wear ring too. The wear rings I seem to replace a few times per year per ski due to neglect of operators and so that is more of a frequent problem than the impellers. The dealer was telling me that a high altitude impeller by seadoo would impress; though I'm curious the difference there between that and a solas or skat trac or whatever.

So can I put an OEM wear ring with a solas? Will a certain type of a pitch impeller serve me better at this elevation than OEM? Should I just buy the plane jane OEM impeller and not worry about it? I'm not against doing mods on the engines but I don't want to spend tons of money and time and I would rather it not be finicky due to mods.

Any help is appreciated. I will post pictures of these pumps when I tear them out.

I would go with the OEM and/or cheapest option. As you said, they will get damaged again. Why spend the extra money? Most renters are either newbs who don't know shit about jet propelled vehicles and wouldn't know the difference of a better impeller or just don't care.

Thanks for the thoughts. That is what I was thinking as well.

If somehow the aftermarket/performance option somehow becomes cheaper then is there an issue with going that route? With the high altitude OEM or an overstocked solas or something?
