I'm in the process of restoring a 1996 Challenger, just rebuilt the motor and I'm just trying to fix it up. I was wondering if you guys could suggest some paint for the plastic storage bin cover (a good match)...is there something good I can pick up at Overtons or is there something special I should get? Let me know. Thanks.

Paint

Hello,

I also own a 96 challenger with marine green color. I just painted parts with paint I ordered from PPG. (which is the original color for the model as stated in the repair manual) I disassembled all the faded green parts added a adhesion primer and just repainted them. The paint took pretty well, its very shinny. I had to remove the old stickers which I was disappointed with because I'm trying to keep the boat as original as possible. If you need some help let me know I'm and very close to the PPG factory and could possible help you keep the boat original.

Paint code

Do you have the PPG paint code? I know of a auto paint supplier near Chicago that will custom mix from a paint code and put it in a spray can.
