P1200 on a SC 2004 GTX

hello all,

I got a ski from some with a P1200 DTC. They had the dealer replace the valve and tell them it needed a $1000 compute so they gave up. I was hoping it was something more simple so I checked the connectors and replaced both the front and rear oil switches but still the P1200.

Is it really the computer? Is that the same as the the mpem or ECU on these skis?

MPEM, with a new blow by valve and tops switch it’s either the mpem or the connectors or wiring between the mpem and the tops switch.
If you disconnect the connector to the tops switch on a normal ski it will throw the P1200 code.

Is the MPEM the same things as the "ECU" shown in the Sea Doo Shop Manual?
