The hose connects the manifold to the waterbox keeps burning a hole threw it after riding about a hour. Motor itself does not over heat at all. I have a 2000 seadoo rx melinium edition

Can you post a photo, to confirm locations? I'm leaning towards a bad water regulator or clog, but need to see where it is...

Ok iv taken apart the water valve noticed the spring is the same as the ones on the top of motor rave valves . It is supposed to be stiffer I found out from my other machine 2001 rx. is that the cause of the overheating hose. I hope so

The water regulator is your problem for sure. Yes you should see a spring in there longer and stiffer then the springs in the exhaust raves. Usually the bellow is torn though. Hook up a water hose to feed it like the pump feeds it and turn it on while you look for water leaking out. Either that or ride it around with the seat off.

This is a great site I must say thanks for all the feedback. The bellow looks mint I'm gonna locate the correct spring and give the feedback

you can remove it and just use your mouth to blow air through it. as you move the bellow up and down, it should close off i believe.
at low RPM it sends water to the exhaust to 1. cool it, and 2. change the back pressure on the exhaust. at high RPM it sends less water, again changing the backpressure.. it's an amazing solution to a very complex pipe length problem on a 2 stroke.
