Optima Battery?? Which One??

I was looking over some older posts and wow.. loads of info... so I have decided (if install looks manageable) that I am going to add a 4channel amp and upgrade from 2 speakers up to 4 speakers.. so looking over the older posts i see that many guys recommend adding a second battery.. i have all the directions and whatnot but i was thinking of going with 2 Blue Top Optima batteries.. I was wondering which one most guys are using.. or should I not even bother going with optima and just get a second battery matching whatever came with the boat?? thanks for any input..

If you arent using any subs and only have a small amp, I think you are fine with 1 battery really. Unless you plan on using the system while parked for long periodsBut if you really want, the optima blue is an awesome battery, but personally I think they are over rated and too expensive. A good quality die hard would work fine. Or like you mentioned, you could buy one like the OEM battery. A lot of peopple claim they need to be the same brand, but I dont thinks its necessary honestly.
