Sooo, we finally got the new Challenger 180 SE out on the water today, pushed off the dock - now when Dad asks "are all the lines in" and hears "YES, let's go!", you would think it would be safe to assume that meant all of them, including the one on the front cleat as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, after we limped to the beach and got that pulled out of the intake, I took off again, but it just didn't feel right after 5,000 rpm and it felt as if the transmission was slipping.
Boat moves along fine at slow speeds, forward and reverse but when you accelerate it just revs and dies out.
What damage did I do, and is it possible that the two are not related?
(After a very quiet ride home from the lake with the kids, I pulled out the motorcycle and went for a nice long ride)
