Can any one tell me if its safe to use another brand of oil in my 02 GTX DI?
I've been looking into some manufacturers and the only two I can find that the manufactueres calim is safe for use are:

CASTROL POWER 1 TTS RACING
Castrol Power 1 TTS Racing is an outstanding full synthetic, low smoke, high performance two-stroke engine oil. It is specifically designed for the latest generation of high output air and water-cooled Japanese and European two-stroke motorcycle engines. It provides excellent lubrication for most competition, street and off-road motorcycles and is our prime recommendation whenever a higher level of engine protection is required. It may also be used in Go-Kart racing engines, or wherever Castrol Activ 2T is recommended. The product exceeds JASO FD and ISO EGD.

And:
QUICKSILVER FULL SYNTHETIC PWC 2 CYCLE ENGINE OIL 3.78LT0
SPECIALLY FORMULATED FOR USE IN ALL MANAFACTURERS 2 STROKE PERSONAL WATERCRAFT PRODUCTS

Has anyone tried these? Any advise would be appreciated.......thanks!!

One more thing to add......

If you see a dual spec on the label like.... "TC-w3, but safe for API-TC"....... DON'T USE IT. Look at the label, and if it says "Ashless"... do not use it. The rough rule is that the additives that make it a API-TC, and Low-ash, will not pass the TC-w3 tests.

TC-w3 oil is better for the environmental, but offers less protection.
