Oil pump drive gear

Hi all,

I currently have my mag cover off the replace the stator and I was looking at my oil pump drive shaft, or whatever it's called; the white plastic/nylon thing that drives the pump. I'm just curious about replacing it. I don't see anything wrong with it but I have no idea how old it is, it could be original, making it 25 years old. Is it worth changing it while I have it apart? Are good replacements available? Do they ever break?

OK, thanks. I won't change it. I was worried about the material aging and having it break, which would be bad.
