I can try, but my experience is only with 787 engines in 96 XP and 97 Challenger. I do have the books though, so here is what they say and it sounds a lot like the ones I have done...
Run a pressure check on the system. Pressurize to ONLY 3 psi and make sure it holds that pressure for at least 10 minutes.
With just slight pressure on the throttle, to take up any slack in the throttle cable, there are marks on the oil pump on the front of the engine that should be alligned. If not, adjust the screw until they are.
If you have any air in the line, you may need to bleed the oiling system.
There is also a way to bench-test the pump, but it would need to be removed from the engine to do this.
If I were you, I would run an 60:- or 80:1 oil mixture premixed into the first tank or two of your fuel, and make sure that the oil level in the oil reservoir is dropping with use.
