Oil Line Disconnected

I have a oil line in a 1996 GSX that runs all the way to the back of the hull, that is not hooked up to anything. I dont know what this line is for or where its supposed to be connected. But I bet this is probably the reason I have oil in the bottom of my hull. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a '96 GSX. If you can post a picture of where the hose starts and where it goes to I'll try and match it up and tell you what it is.

It starts at the oil tank and runs along the side of the hull by the air intake. all the way to the back by the battery, where mine just sits there. I will post a pic asap.

Does it have oil in it? Sounds like the vent line for the battery.
