The last time I was out riding, I suddenly noticed my oil light came on. The oil tank was 1/2 full, but I was tipping the ski alot and I think air got into the oil line. The oil line had oil in it to the filter, but none after the filter. I pulled off the oil line at the filter, to let the air out and get the oil to flow. It seemed to work, and the line filled with oil.

The oil light was still on, and I had to run the motor slowly about 15 seconds to get back to the dock. I realize this probably wasn't very smart. About the time I got to the dock, the oil light was off.

What are the odds I screwed up the motor?? It seems to run fine.

You're probably O.K., If you want you could check the compression, it would give you a good indication if any damage was done. Sounds like you had enough oil remaining in the lines to keep the motor lubricated.

your oil sensor is in the tank so it doesn't know if you have oil in the lines, just the tank.

If you ride aggressive with a low tank... your light may come on... but you will probably be OK.
