Hi all I have a 99 GTX LTD, that still has an issue revving past 5800rpm.
I have a new motor-10 hours approx use-951
Put new acc. pump, redone carbs, done water reg., check psi 150 each, checked rectifier ok. All this was done by a licensed Seadoo dealer. I have also done jet pump unit myself to save $$$.
My raves get full of oil i.e. the bellows get full of oil. Have asked the service centre if THIS could be the problem & they say try cleaning them and replacing o-rings, seals, springs etc. Will having oil stop the valves from working. Or should they have oil in them, or should that oil be burnt up as waste to the exhaust?
