I'm only asking this here because I'm presently trying to locate my owners manual haha. I was curious how much oil my ski takes (2013 GTI SE 130) because you have to buy a vacuum pump to extract the oil and I wanted to know which size pump i need.

The 2011 manual states the following...

For the 130 it takes 3L or 3.2 quarts. If you change the filter it jumps to 4.5L or 4.8 quarts.

Sorry, I do not have a 2013 manual...

That's a big jump when you include changing the filter (which I would do every oil change anyway). Thanks though...guess im getting the larger pump

The nice thing about going larger is,,,, it won't be to small.

It would be no fun to be doing an oil change only to find out the tank is to small...

Yep, it might be O.K., but sometimes you get what you pay for. I work at an automobile dealership and we have been using the same unit that West Marine sells for ever, and to my knowledge have never had one fail. Off hand I don't know the manufacturer but the West Marine unit was cheaper and also has the adapter for the fitting on the Mercruiser dip stick. Also the extractor has a fitting to use compressed air instead of the hand pump.

I actually will probably go with the west marine one you showed me. It seems like it might stand the test of time better. Thanks again for the info Lou

Only put in what you've removed. Over filling is bad news...half way between the bends on a level warmed up motor.

Personally I highly recommend the pneumatic model.

Yes I'm lazy but damn it works good. I'm in Canada and we got one for $89 on sale reg $129

This is the one I have, it's a little more than the small one about $20.00 but it will do anything you have, you can also use it to pump gas out of the tank. I recommend it highly. Compared to what the dealer will charge, one oil change and it's free.

Hey I know you reccomended this pump but I wa reading over some of the reviews and some people were saying the hose would fit into the dipstick hole but the tube is rigid and if there are any bends that it wouldn't go all the way in. Is this an issue you had or no?
