i live in the south and keep my ski in a large heated garage... but still when its not being started for a few months with winter coming do i need to do anything special? (im new to this game so sorry if its a dumb question!) fuel treatments? change any filters? battery tender? ...its only a seadoo GTX

You might want to put a charge on the battery and add a fuel stabilizer for long periods of non use. Disconnect or remove the battery when charging so as not to surge the electrical of the seadoo. You might want to be sure to let the engine compartment vent too. Spraying everything down with silicone spray is a good thing too, to prevent corrosion like the jet pump assy and engine compartment, wires, engine ect. Nows a good time to think of scheduled maintenance to do before it's spring again.

Those are just a couple thoughts off the cuff to think about...don't forget the wax on the hull finish and the seat protection...
