Reverse Gate?

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you want to add a reverse gate to this ski?

Lou

yes,i want to add a reverse to this, but was told the nozzle head in pict is setup for the vts that i thought was for the reverse bucket to bolt to,,im learning,,,so guess ill need the complete setup.

The ears on that pump nozzle is for the VTS gimble. BUT... you could get an early style bucket, and probably make it work. (they were narrow)

The reverse bucket normally just bolted on around the pump nozzle.

Reverse Gate

Hi,

Theoretically you could add a reverse gate. I don't think your doo ever had a reverse gate from the factory.

You would need to find the parts from a similar ski with the same pump. You would need the reverse gate and bracket, springs that hold the gate up, hardware, brake/reverese lever, brake handle, mounting hardware, and you would need to modify your ski to mount the hardware.

Parts are scarce, you would probably need to buy them used on EBay. This could be a very expensive modification $200.00+. If you do this check the rear of your ski to make sure there is clearance for the gate.

I don't think this modification would be worth the time and money envolved.
