Hello everyone,

Did some searching and couldny find anything. I am a noob to this forum and to the sea doo pwc. I have a few questions. I am on the market for a 2006 or newer RXP. I was wondering what I should worry about ( if anything) while looking for one of these. I figured I should keep the hours low so I've only been looking for ones with 35 hours or less. Is there a limit to the amount of hours I should look at?? Also, I was wondering since these pwc's have 2 keys i would assume that there is a decent sized chip inside it. Are there any problems with thise chip getting wet and ruining something?

Sorry if im a noob.

You asked opinion questions, and people don't like to answer them. Buy what you want. If you have some "Hour" limit... then you answered your own question.

As far as a chip in the lanyard... SeaDoo has been using them since '96, and there are no issues.

hey thanks for the help guys. this forum blows!!!!

And with that comment... you win the "hope you don't need any help in the future" award. :hurray:

If you had some real, non-opinion, self answered questions... someone may have answered.

Best of luck with your purchase.

The high powered models have a learning key but when the 10hr service is done at the dealer they clear that allowing full speed, the supercharger washer clutch causes big trouble when it fails and blocks the oil pump feedline, everyone looks for low hours the same on trucks, cars and women.
