Ive just rebuilt my 947 Di motor and found a problem, well something I overlooked. I took the ski out and found it ran really well.
But the ski was filling up with water.
Anyway I checked all pipes at home to find I hadn't connected the clear pipe from the noise reducer that sits under the rear compartment on the 3D di 947 model. This part doesn't exist in any 3D di manuals or for sale in any parts stores. The very same part was used in the RX Di model of 2001. So if your stuck on finding a part that's on a new model it pays to check out the older stuff. Now I have found the pipe on an older lay out I can get back into the Sea.:hurray:
