ok heres the story; stator shredded in flywheel of 1993 spx, electrical box was tore apart, ski has sat for about 1.5 years. replaced said stator reinstalld flywheel, rewired(reconnected) and reinstalled elec box, i hope correctly, color to color right? installed new battery . nothing, oil light comes on when lanyard installed and start pressed but no crank no nothing, on a positive not the 15 amp fuse does not blow anymore...... please help me

i should add when the starter solenoid bridged the engine turns over, does this automatically mean i need a new solenoid?

no, not necessarily, check to see if your getting voltage to the signal terminals when the start button is pressed.

so possibly a mixed up wire in the starter/stop/tehther area of box? i was a little confused as to which black /white etc etc wire went where
