OK long story short: 1996 GSX

Rebuilt engine installed - starter went bad

New Starter New relay- new ground/positive cables

All fuses replaced even if they looked ok

new AGM battery I do have the small ground coming from the ebox connected

Unsnapped and reconnected all the connections-made sure nothing was crossed.

..............................................

Hook the dess key up nothing at all.

Jump the relay with a screw driver and it cranks all day long

I am going nuts here, my other seadoo fired right up when i rebuilt the engine.

Are all the pins at the same height in the plug? Someone here just had that problem over the summer. One of the pins pushed back and wasn't making contact.

Check the rear ebox plug on the top. The ground pin is known for corrosion.

The little ground from the battery goes into the rear box. You can pull the box up and ohm from the grounds on the base of the coil to the battery. If you have continuity then the connection between the coil to the battery is good. The front box gets it ground thru the MAG connector.

Are you getting + vdc in the front ebox?

If you have the 15 amp fuse in the holder in the rear E-Box look at the whole assembly close. If the box has ever been full of water it may be corroded. Might consider doing the check out procedure on the stator. Power runs through it on some ski's. If you don't have one. Repair manuals are available free on the Internet.
I live in Akron too, North Hill.
