New to PWC

just want to say hello and warn you guys I will be asking tons of questions. I picked up a 95 and 96 XP for a steal with the trailer. I was able to get the 96 to fire and run but not the 95. On the 96 there is a negative wire to the ignition and everything powered up and started. The 95 I can not see that wire. It will turn over and has spark at the plug but the gauges do not light up. What am I missing.

Three big hints:
get a service manual, they are very good and can be found either here or on-line
peruse and search the 2-stroke section for good info
clean up the fuel system is the biggest hint for these older SeaDoos
