I just bought a 1997 Seadoo GTX and have a battery tender but don't know where the battery is or where to hook it up !!

Also, is there anything else i need to check before i take it out?

It has been sitting a few months without use but recently had a new motor put in and only has a few hours on the new motor.

I'm sure much more qualified people will chime in but my limited experience has the batteries located in the rear of the hull on the "passenger" side.

Hope this helps.

Electrical box.

This Battery Cut Off Switch is a single circuit disconnect switch with or without a detachable key. It isolates the battery circuit for anti-theft, anti-fire, short circuit protection, and unwanted battery drain.

It would be installed between the red terminal cable and the electrical box.

Would you only install on a ski? I've had a tender on my bike for years without one. No problems that I'm aware of.
