New synthetic blend oil

Has anyone used the new synthetis blend oil, The dealer told me it will mix with my mineral oil with out any problems. He also said that BRP is going to do away with mineral oil all together.

Yup. I started using it last season. They gave me a good case price. It will mix OK... but I would still run the oil tank down to a minimum level before adding it.

I was thinking that, running the tank low first. Did you notice less smoke?

Reading up on the BRP's facts for it, they claim it will mix with any other XPS oil and they can be used interchangeably.

Nope... but I was breaking in a new engine last season, so I ran a few tanks of fuel with extra oil.

I figured it would since it's already a blend of their oils. The synth oil gives better protection, and they probably just did a blend to give a lower price alternative to the XPS Synth.

When I changed my oil 2 months ago, I asked for the mineral oil, and they gave me the Synthetic, telling me it replaces the mineral oil and is better for the engine.

did they give you synthetic or synthetic blend?? I dont think that the pure synthetic will mix with the mineral.

It was the blend, I believe.
