Hello im new to this page just had some issuses with my 1991 sea doo it has the yellow motor and im having to take the starter off and having some issues...thanks...would like to have some feedback

Welcome! Could you be more specific on the issues that you are having with the removal of your starter?

No the motor defiantly shouldn't have to come out. Usually the starter is tucked up in the most awful spot to get to it. First I would start by taking a light and a mirror and finding the starter and it's attachment points. Then if you hold your tongue in the right spot and give it a few shots you can usually get a grab on the bolts and pull them out. When I took it of my '95 GTX it was a pain, but putting it back in was pretty simple after I took it out.
