WOW looks like she has 700 hrs on it!! Sorry to say that. I just went down to look at my 2019 GTX 155. About 20 hrs on it. Salt and lake use. ( mostly salt ) has the holes in the elbows like mentioned previously in the thread. I also have that black spray line coming from carbon seal. It is a moving part that has pressure on it. I’m assuming VERY minimal leakage is somewhat normal. Have you been costing that engine with XPS lube?? Should soak it at least 2 to 3 time per season. I will attach some photos for reference.

If the engine bay looks like this , then this is premature carbon Ring failure and if your dealer has never seen this before they are not reading BRP official online forum.

i wish brp has the shield to go around the carbon seal to contain the gray and the saltwater spray to drop into floor of the ski and it give us a much cleaner inside hull and reduce salt from collecting all over the metal parts inside hull etc etc . my 96 ski looksgreat inside it has the gray cover that catches all mess coming from carbon seal and it drops right to floor and gets sucked out from bildge, nice . im going to try to make a shield to at least contain anything that will come from carbon seal. and not spray all over the engine .

your ski looks very clean inside nice. i bought salt away ill give my engine a good rub down .and i found a way to contain sprays to drop down onto the bildge strainers . its a sad thing to have to do to a new ski seadoo should do something about it but most people dont notice and most dealers up north dont even know.about elbows spraying. ill try to find my picture and it works well.

i found after i replaced the carbon seal that the bellows was much shorter the rubber part for lack of works shrunk , and i also found the stainless part was pitted holding salt water and when engine is running the water sprays in compartment making a mist ,,anyone ever put grease or oil into carbon seal to prevent the stainless side from rusting (pitting) will the carbon seal get ruined from the oil or grease ????
